We were very pleased to be offered by Lothian Buses the use of their last Volvo Olympian with Alexander Royale body, bus 285 (P285 PSX). This immaculate bus is kept in the reserve fleet for special events and is not part of the normal bus fleet. We were taken on a drive on a very sunny evening through the city centre stopping for photos at Regent Road, Our Dynamic Earth at Holyrood, Eastfield Terminus, Wallyford Park & Ride, Sheriffhall Park & Ride and back to the city centre. We are very grateful to Lothian Buses for letting us have the use of this special bus.
